Sarah McGuiness
Sarah McGuiness (she/her) has a BA in Religion and a MA in Aging and Health Ministries. In 2020 she completed a year-long internship with Lutheran Social Service (LSS) Metro Homeless Youth Services (MHYS). She is a practicing Buddhist who is deeply committed to interfaith dialogue and cross-cultural community action. She is passionate about human rights, restorative justice, and building resilience through the creative arts.

Rebecca "Becca" Kraska
Becca Kraska (she/her) has a bachelor’s degree in Social Work and a minor in Chemical Dependency. She has worked professionally for two non-profit organizations and currently works for Northeast Metro 916 School District where she works with students who have developmental disabilities. Becca brings her own unique perspective to this endeavor celebrating diversity through the creative arts. She has been hard of hearing most of her life and wears a hearing aid. She is passionate about Sacred Grounds Coffee House because she strongly believes in the inclusion of everyone no matter who you are or where you come from.

Maria Mylene Buan
Board Member
Maria worked for over 20 years providing music therapy throughout the metro area. Populations served include private and group in-home services, schools, assisted living facilities, memory care, adult day programs, integrated preschool programs, residential homes for adults with developmental disabilities, Parkinson’s centers, and hospice care. Her specialty is working with children on the autism spectrum. Maria started her own music therapy company, Music Sense, LLC in 2001. She currently works on-site as well as offering options for virtual music therapy sessions. In addition to practicing music therapy, Maria teaches Drums Alive® classes to promote health and wellness for all ages and abilities. Maria graduated from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities School of Music with a Bachelor of Music with emphasis in Music Therapy. She is also a Master Trainer for Drums Alive® and is also a certified instructor for Zumbini®.

Shena Harrison

Shena is manager at Canes restaurant and the mother of a young adult with disabilities. This informs he advocacy work that everyone should be treated the way we would want to be treated.
Mark McGuiness
Mark McGuiness (He/Him) has an AAS in Computer Graphics and Visualization Technology with an Emphasis in 3D Animation and Web Design. Since 2006 He has been working as support staff for Individuals with disabilities as well as working as a musician; writing, recording, and performing music across the country.
